I dont think ive seen more than 2 or 3 posts about the Starion/Conquest on here. What gives. Seems like a great candidate for missile transformation. Or just a superb handling powerful go kart. Racing seats and harnesses, have fun! Its probably a pita to find parts for it though.
I have only ever seen one in person. So either they just blend in really well, or they truly are rare, i have no clue.

Ridiculously rare, Ive only seen two, both were owned by the same guy who brought them to an autocross, one was on a trailer as a moving parts car

Ive been to tons of big car meets, and no one has a starion. Its crazy. Ive never seen one in jersey, it was in PA of all places.

There is a car, I believe it's one of these, about 5 minutes from my place, for sale. Looks like it's in excellent shape. I want it. I really need to stop and take a look at it some time.

I've always liked the Starion/Conquest, at least the widebody ones.
They've got somewhat funky throttle body fuel injection, and single channel rear ABS.
But I still like them.

I did not realize they were rwd. I figured they were more like an Eclipse. I'll go take a look at it tomorrow and grab some pictures. The wheels on it may not be to your liking.

ahhh yess. I knew someone posted about the starion a while back. I figured id just remind everyone how cool these are since on a daily basis we hear miatas are 'teh best kars evur'. We need to be reminded of other, more interesting cars than that of the hairdressers (its a joke, dont worry).

I used to see them regularly. Haven't seen a nice example in a while. Mostly beaters lately and not often at all. Friend had a red one with some work done. Turned high 12's at the dragstrip.

I want a Starion. But I haven't seen one in a decade or more. I don't know anyone who owns one, I never have. I never see them for sale. They are just a car that time forgot man.
That's just the way it is. The engines tended to die early.
